A year, a month and a day since the last journal. O_o Have a hell lot of messages to catch up on too.

As you can probably see, there's not much going on here. University ate my life. But now I'm on co-op (in downtown Toronto) and I have more free time, so hopefully I'll do some artsy stuff. Have to get back to the love of pen and ink, and then explore myself some more.

I'm trying to plan another comic to do over this summer. I know, I keep planning and planning and trying and trying and nothing much seems to come out of it but it's enjoyable. This current one I'm trying to base off a fanfiction I wrote quite recently for the Yunchun timeline exchange over at the community at LJ. I hope I can get the emotions through...

More recently, I want a more spiritual feel to my works. Something that tugs at the soul in some way. More raw emotion and less meticulous finesse. I have to get rid of my habit to try and perfect my artworks in a technical matter and express myself. I have to let go of my self-imposed restrictions.
